Two Factor Authentication(2FA) provides an additional layer of security around your account and makes it much harder for common threats like phishing attacks and account takeovers to succeed. We're excited to announce that our Two Factor Authentication(2FA) will soon be enabled from January 1st 2025.
Once 2FA is enabled, you need to first login to your service account with usual credentials when accessing either the computing service which includes DiCOS service portal(https://dicos.grid.sinica.edu.tw) and SLURM User Interface(slurm-ui.twgrid.org) or transferring data from dicos-sftp.twgrid.org and slurm-ui.twgrid.org. You will need to use the Google Authenticator app on your smart phones to generate the second factor code.
